I don't actually see why so many people have said this is an awesome film. I got quite bored watching it. Every time they did anything while in space it ALWAYS went wrong. Its a bit of an over the top film that's trying to be serious but fail dismally at it!

Tbf it is quite serious. And they arent actual astronauts. Bruce Willis has to die which is a pretty big sacrifice. Or would you rather humanity died?
Exactly! NASA or the American Government would never let untrained astronauts into space to save Earth. ;). Now it is only a film, so I think you might be going a bit over the top with the death of humanity! :)
if i remember correctly (i havent seen this film for a while) isnt the reason they send untrained people into space because bruce willis is trained in like oil drilling or something? and i think alot of people are supposed to die but i see what you are saying with it being far fetched and what not :)
