I LOVE THIS MUSICAL! This is such a fab musical and the film really does it justest. I never knew Johnny Depp could sing either! Though the film is an 18, its only when Sweeny is cutting people's throats that it is a bit grim. The music, composed by Stephen Sondheim, really portarts the feelings of the characters and helps the story to progress. Everyone must watch this film at least once in their life!

11. Evans Almighty 27/03/09
Though in some parts a bit hammy, I really enjoyed this film and Steve Carell does make a great 'weirdo with a beardo'! Its a film that you can just pop on and have a good laugh with.

10. Slum Dog Millionaire 7/03/09
I'm a bit on the fence with this film. It was clever how the questions tied into Jamal's life but the poverty and some parts of the culture just reminded me too much of when I was in Africa. It is a very sad film, though it does have some funny parts, it is mainly violent and unhappy. I'm not sure about it, its a film you have to watch to see if you like it (if that makes any sense!)
